Hi,

I already had my experiences with David's open-air-concerts, so we bought our rain-capes right in the beginning. Shortly before the concert is began to rain, but stopped minutes before so we packed our capes back in the bags.

David performed a mixed-concert, core classical in the first part with pianist Milana Chernyavska, with his band in the second part.

He started with the wonderful Grieg-Sonata, very emotional and expressive, but had to stop after  a few strokes, because the temper peg of the e-string slipped, he fixed it, tuned the string and started again. He got a lot of applause after the first movement and suddenly it began to rain again. Everybody took out his rain-cape and David said....take your time..lol...and he waited and waited until everybody had his rain-cape on.

Afterwards he play Sarasate, but not Introduktion and Taratella as announced in the programme, but the Zigeunerweisen. It stopped to rain and it was time for the interval.

In the second part he played pieces from his albums Virtuoso and Encore. I will scan the programm later. .....The mood was very good. David announces his pieces relaxed as usual. As an encore he played the Hungarian dance and Somewhere...
